Frequently Asked Questions

What types of images can be extracted?+
Any image visible on a PDF page — photos, logos, charts, diagrams — is captured by rendering the page at high resolution.
Will image quality be preserved?+
Pages are rendered at 2.5× scale for sharp output. Some quality reduction is inherent in the rendering approach.
What if no images are found?+
If no image operators are detected, the tool will show a 'no images found' message. Try a PDF that has visible images.
Can I extract images from scanned PDFs?+
Scanned PDFs are themselves images — the tool can capture the whole page but not individual embedded elements.
